I spent yesterday and most of today in my "home office" because we didn't have access to work. Our office is located right next to Gostiny Dvor (exhibition hall) where Putin's party Edinaya Rossiya is having their annual meeting right now. Most of almost 300 employees in our office were probably quite happy about these "quiet work days" but I am not sure if the management was as exited about it... One positive thing about coming to work after 3 pm is that you don't have much of the morning traffic left ;-) There wouldn't have been absolutely any problems with this arrangement today if water at home would have been running as usual. It probably has something to do with this huge hole in our back yard, I really hope that they can fix it soon... it's just those very long coffee breaks that made me wondering when that might be. By the way, this indoor photo of Gostiny Dvor has nothing to do with Putin's Party or their meeting.
