Sun was shining again today (+18C) and I remembered that one friend of mine told me about this outdoor pool close to Park Cultury metro station which is open all year round. I decided to try to find it and so I did – Chaika Sport Complex. There was some hassle with tickets and stamps in the beginning when I arrived there but it was kind of easy anyway because I had my spravka ("permit to swim" signed by a doctor). If I understood it right, you can also get/buy your spravka here in case you don't have it. One hour swimming costed 500 Rubles (about 17 euros) but it was worth it! I was feeling so good afterwards, wow =) This place reminded my from the swimming stadium in Helsinki, even the tiles were similar. The main pool was 50 metres long and then there was some smaller ones for jumping and playing. This place will probably look nice & foggy during the winter time because they will keep the water temperature in +27C degrees then too. I had some carrot juice and salad in a pool bar after my swim. I also realized that they have minigolf and very nice garden terrace (Lebanese restaurant Kasbar) right next to the pool. Yes, this is my new favorite pool!!!
