Sokol metro closed

There is some construction work going on around Sokol because new lanes & tunnel are been built for Leningradskii Prospekt. Because of this the entrance on my side of the road to Sokol metro station will be closed from tomorrow until... Well, nobody knows how long it will take. So it will be little bit more complicated to go to the metro but still I am happy that this station is not completely closed...

Ramstore

My closest food store is Ramstore on the other side of Leningradskii Prospect.    

Traffic jam on Sunday

I have seen so many churches today but on our way home I saw one more just next to the road. My friend told me that it is for travelers, anyone can go there to pray. Prays or some tricks are actually needed sometimes on the roads because even now we saw one accident with eight cars being involved. That always means traffic jams, so it took little bit longer to go back to Moscow this evening.  

Another monastery

On the other side of the Pereslavl-Zalesskiy town you can find another monastry.    

Goritskiy Monastery of the Assumption

We arrived here just before they were closing.      

Pereslavl-Zalesskiy

After Sergiev Posad we drove something like 60 kilometres to Pereslavl-Zalesskiy.    

Kvas

Some other things I saw at the market: kvas (similar with Finnish home made sweet beer) and packaging for caviar and fish. In a blue can you will find some sweet malako (milk), it's little bit like a sauce but very tasty for example with bliny.   

Food market

On a street level of the shopping centre you can find indoor food market.     

Jolki Palki

After visiting the monastery we went to a local shopping centre and from the top floor we found cosy Russian restaurant Jolki Palki.       

Sergiev Posad

Sergiev Posad (soviet name: Zagorsk) is a small town 75 kilometres north-east from Moscow.     

KISS

KISS concert at the huge Olympic Stadium in Moscow (close to Prospect Mira metro station): just amazing feeling and wonderful show – this was the first time ever for KISS to play in Russia. Rock'n Roll all night and party every day... wow!
